A struggle with alcohol addiction left him believing there was little in life to look forward to. Then he accepted the help of others to discover true meaning and purpose for his life. Now he uses those lessons in partnering with the UNC Hospital Emergency Department team to help patients who are ready to start their journey toward health and a meaningful life.
